Celebrating 20 Years of Changing Lives Through Education
Since 2005, Banag-Banag has proudly partnered with the Don Bosco TVET Center, Pasil Cebu, to provide opportunities for young people to gain technical and trade skills. Each year, through our Raffle Tickets fundraising, we have been able to support 2–4 vocational scholars.
Now in its 20th year, this continuing project has already opened doors for dozens of students who have gone on to build better futures for themselves and their families.
For 2025, we are excited to introduce our two new scholars under the Dressmaking Vocational Program:
Frances Dhyn Pajares –
26 years old, the eldest of nine siblings
Lordeliza M. Yares – 51
years old, a widow with a strong determination to learn new skills
Their journeys are inspiring reminders that education has no age limit and that with community support, dreams can be sewn into reality.
